Soapbox: Ed admits he killed Emily's Ern
Rachel Broady10/ 2/2006
CORONATION STREET Ed reveals he accidentally
killed Emily's Ernest all those years ago. How old was he when he
did it, twelve? She kicks him out and wants revenge.
She should get some tips from Tracy. She's having trouble with
Charlie who doesn't like to be left holding the baby (which is fair
enough because she looks a bit like a Cabbage Patch doll) and when
he finds her in the Rovers he dumps Amy in her lap and then dumps
her too. He later tells her if she wants him she has to get rid of
the kid.
Meanwhile, Phil foolishly gives David a present - David is, quite
rightly, none too impressed that it's a Westlife CD (and Phil's
lucky Ciaran no longer works in the Rovers!) and Phil is so hurt he
threatens to break David's fingers. Gail don't half pick 'em and
yet she's surprised when a Valentine's card arrives from Richard
Hillman.
Claire receives a Valentine's too. She thinks it's from Steve and
so packs in her job. If she were Ronnie she'd be asking for a pay
rise.
It's heating up between Tyrone and Molly too - not just passion but
a burning chip pan aflame in the back of the butty van.
And there're more shenanigans about Dev's offspring but I'm finding
it difficult to keep up.
EMMERDALE Before the double wedding even starts
there're troubles for the couples.
Viv wants Bob to have his vasectomy reversed so that they can have
a baby. She must then be planning on turning back time by about a
decade (then her body will be as old as her fashion sense). Then
Bob goes missing.
Viv's meddling continues and moping Marlon is miserable that she
wants to have the stag night on the night of his and Tricia's
wedding anniversary. Someone should remind him that Tricia won't be
there to celebrate and he should concentrate on his new wife-to-be.
Donna tells him she was in love with Max and he has the cheek to be
taken aback.
Meanwhile, Alice is intending to do a wing walk - not in an attempt
to get away from the wedding chaos or the Dingles, I hasten to add
- she wants to raise cash for charity and Tom King, remembering his
wife's fight against cancer, seems only too happy to help.
EASTENDERS Patrick struggles with his guilt after
his encounter with Pat. Well, wouldn't you? Sonia is confused about
her feelings. Again.
