Boy trapped under bus

A BOY, 14, was trapped under a bus in a road accident.
The incident happened yesterday evening (Thursday, December 18) as the bus turned into Barlow Moor Road from Hardy Lane, Chorlton.
A police spokesman said: "The boy was trapped under the bus for a short while and was then taken to Wythenshawe Hospital.
"He is currently being treated for injuries to his head and legs which at this stage are not thought to be life threatening."
Police are asking witnesses to the incident at 7.35pm to call
them on 0161 856 4672.
