New plan to sustain water park

AS THE sun sets over Chorlton Water Park this week a new dawn begins for vistors to the beautiful wildlife haven.
The Friends of Chorlton Water Park has been set up to ensure the popular conservation area is preserved and enjoyed by families for generations to come.
The group is working with wardens at the park to introduce new and improved facilities for members of the public.
Every year tens of thousands of people flock to the park to enjoy a bit of countryside tranquility away from the hussle and bustle of city life.
Now the Friends of Chorlton Water Park want to hear your ideas on how to make the park even better.
The park is currently home to thousands of domestic and migrating birds such as Siberian pochards, kestrels and buzzards.
