OLD Alts capitalised on numerous postponements to retake top spot in the Altrincham SFL Premier Division.

Shaun Nolan, Dan McDonald (three each) and Anthony Maas gave them a 7-0 win at AFC Sale Moor, while third-placed Buck Inn ended Trafford Hawks’ unbeaten away record thanks to Oliver Barnes (two) and Liam Myers.

Trafford FC completed the double over Bay Malton, winning 3-2 with Andrew Scanlan, Adam Ball and Gareth Thomas topping goals from Don Garner and John Guite.

Elsewhere, Luke Kaylor (three) and Shaun Briksnis netted as Urmston Meadowside beat Sale West United 5-0.

USC went sixth in division one after a 1-1 draw with Sale Excel, Steve Richardson and Craig Steven with their respective goals.

Sale United won 2-0 at Bricklayers Arms via strikes from Chris Brown and John Quinn.
