Gregs' funding plea

GREGORIANS are ‘going to the dogs’ as they try to raise funds for the new Manchester League season.
Officials are arranging a night for players and friends of the club at Belle Vue’s greyhound track on June 20.
It will cost £5 per person, £4 of which goes to the club, with a free race card.
Secretary Terry O’Neil said: “Just to book our facilities at Platt Lane and the University Fields costs us around £15,000 per season. We are also looking to run an under-18s team in the North West Allied League next season and again will need funds to run this.”
