South Manchester’s under-10s meet up with Ruud van Nistelrooy

SOUTH Manchester JFC’s under-10s came face to face with Dutch striker Ruud Van Nistelrooy when they headed to Holland to compete in the Amsterdam Tournament.
The meeting happened when they discovered that the Holland squad were preparing for Euro 2008 by staying in a nearby hotel.
Meeting up with Van Nistelrooy seemed to pay dividends as South earned their first piece of European silverware by lifting the under-11s title.
